Welcome to the Love Army: Target Series. Starting here we’ll be featuring people who are notable at doing what they do, in hopes to possibly inspire. First on the spotlight – Erik Javier.
The other night I was able to set some time again with one of the people who supported Love Army since it was born. This time though, we weren’t set to shoot any dance video, rather, just a casual walk around the sleeping city of Makati. This is probably the only time we’ve actually hung out again since after making Don’t Judge Me.
Would you believe that this guy is actually a Microbiologist? Yes. He worked for P&G at some point and currently, he’s still hustlin’ on the side outside of dance with a Health and Wellness company.
In fact, before finally shooting with this guy, he came from a meeting which held our session to further start around 12:30am. Manila Hustle.
That passion-pushin’ in choreography work though boiled onto earning classes down at Big Shift Studios, winning the Championships in Las Vegas with The Crew, choreographing for celebrities, and lately – his title of Hip Hop International Judge. In his hands now lay life changing decisions for dancers and crews who dare enter the international scene which is held annually in Las Vegas in the USA.
In one of Love Army’s Instagram posts, we referred to DJ Jet Boado as a Soldier of Beats. Nice ring to it, yeah? Soldier of Motion – that’s how I’d like to refer to this guy now, and it’ll pretty much be the same with everybody in the dance niche.
Something’s cooking. Watch out for it.
